Ieva Simonaitytė Gymnasium

This September is a special one at Ieva Simonaitytė Gymnasium – the school community is celebrating not only the beginning of the school year, but also the house-warming in the new building. The newly built building houses an assembly hall, which the school did not have until now, and four new classrooms.

The extension is almost 800 square metres in size and the assembly hall covers an area of 280 square metres. The technological equipment for the assembly hall was designed and installed by Scenos Techninis Servisas (StS). It is equipped with modern stage machinery, video, sound and lighting systems.

The lighting system in the auditorium consists of three lighting bars and a front lighting bridge, controlled by a remote control. There is also an electrically controlled front curtain.

The lighting system is composed of multi-purpose fixtures: profile and flood light Chauvet Lighting floodlights. The versatile system can be adapted to a wide range of lighting scenarios: formal presentations and conferences, theatre performances and concerts, community celebrations or a school disco. The lighting system is controlled by a ChamSys light control panel.

A QSC sound system has been selected for the sound system of this hall, adapted for concert activities. This system can also be adapted to a wide range of events and meets the needs of the school.

The system is complemented by a set of microphones and an audio control panel.

The auditorium also has a video system consisting of a video projector and a projection screen at the back of the stage. This screen can be conveniently unfolded and collapsed when not in use. The screen can be used for presentations, film screenings or to complement the set design of an event when showing video projections.

The new auditorium will be used not only by the school, but also by the community of Priekulė city.
